About Investz
Investing, A to Z. Online since 1999.
Investz.com has been online since 1999. It began as an online bookstore for people who wanted to learn about investing, years before most people had heard of an online store. Today it is a market hub as well: live quotes, news, research tools, plain-English guides and a curated shelf of investing books and audio.
Public WHOIS records show the investz.com domain was first registered on October 31, 1999.
What “A to Z” means
We want Investz to cover investing from A to Z: from your first question (“what is an ETF?”) to checking the market every morning, with the learning built in alongside the numbers. In practice that means:
- Check the market: indexes and Market Mood, stocks A–Z, ETFs, crypto and the earnings calendar.
- Understand it: plain-English guides and sector pages.
- Keep learning: the investing bookshelf, audiobooks and podcasts. Investing in yourself comes first.
Where our data comes from
Quotes and calendars come from Finnhub and Twelve Data, and embedded charts from TradingView, and may be delayed. Headlines come from CNBC, Yahoo Finance and MarketWatch and link to the original publisher. See our disclosures for details, including how we earn money from book links.
Not investment advice
Everything on Investz is for information and education only. It is not investment, tax or legal advice. Always do your own research and consider speaking with a licensed professional before investing.
